After a thorough assessment of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, Japan Oil Chemists’ Society (JOCS) has decided to make WCOS 2022 a virtual-only event. Instead, it will host the 3rd WCOS as an in-person event in 2027, to commemorate its 75th anniversary, in Kushiro, the city where WCOS 2022 was to be held.
